HOW DO I USE PSE PRO IF I AM A MULTI-SPORT ATHLETE? (TRIATHLETE, DUATHLETE)

In addition to the 3 Strength & Conditioning sessions each week, perform 1-2 interval sessions per sport, per week, plus 1 Tempo or Time Trial each week. Alternate the sport for the Tempo/Time Trial each week.

For the sport specific work, prioritise your weakness. For instance, if you are a triathlete and a weak swimmer, ensure you complete at least 2 swim sessions per week. Likewise, if your bike leg needs work, include at least 2 bike sessions per week.

2-WEEK EXAMPLE TRIATHLON TRAINING PLAN

MON AM – S&C
MON PM – Short Interval Swim
TUES – Long Interval Run
WED AM – S&C
WED PM – Long Interval Bike
THU AM – Long Interval Swim
THU PM – Short Interval Run
FRI AM – S&C
FRI PM – Short Interval Bike
SAT or SUN – Tempo or Time Trial Swim
